The problem
People with a legal problem rarely know where to start. LawConnect had built a platform to help them, combining AI guidance with access to the right lawyer. But the market only had old labels for it: legal AI, lawyer directory, marketplace. None told the whole story.
The idea
We created a new category: Legal Navigation. It's about helping people understand where they stand, see their options and get to the right help.
What we did
We started by defining Legal Navigation and the point of view behind it. From there, we aligned brand, category and audience strategy, so people seeking help and the lawyers serving them each hear a clear, relevant story. We then built a platform brand designed to live in the product first, plain-spoken, calm and clear wherever people meet it. Finally, we launched it with a campaign to introduce the category and a content series that keeps it useful long after launch.
The result
Legal Navigation is now how LawConnect describes itself. It even named its flagship research after the category: the 2026 Australian Legal Navigation Report. And it's a category with scale behind it, with 167,000+ Australians engaged in a year and a network of 350+ law firms.
