We partnered with founder Will to take a startup idea and build it into a scalable brand — one that grew so successfully it was ultimately acquired by Uber. From the ground up, we created the brand: designing the digital UI/UX, marketing assets, and overall experience.

Car Next Door’s new identity challenges the “one person, one car” mindset with a fresh, optimistic look that breaks industry norms. The new logo, nicknamed James, features a dynamic smile and fleet-inspired eyes — a symbol of a friendly, evolving brand personality.

Our work spanned full brand strategy, tone of voice, UI, and messaging — positioning Car Next Door as an easy, affordable, and playful alternative to car ownership.
